The Beet & Baum market stall has been the showcase for Plattform2020 in Markthalle Neun since 2016: for organically-certified food regional producers and carefully selected imported products. Emphasis is placed on organic and Demeter-quality products that are produced according to stricter criteria than the EU Organic Farming Regulation. Founder and Managing Director Jiro Nitsch is well connected: He knows everyone in Berlin, Brandenburg and beyond: producers, farmers, refiners and all those who make sure that the best food ends up in the shopping basket. But it's not just the Markthalle that benefits from their diversity - they also supply countless restaurants in Berlin. Here, too, the only stop between the farm and the plate is Markthalle Neun.
