The Beet & Baum market stall has been the showcase for the ‘Ab Hof’ platform in Markthalle Neun since 2016: for food from controlled organic cultivation, primarily from regional producers and from traceable producer structures and cooperatives from other (European) countries. Preference is given to products from small farms organised in organic farming associations (Demeter, Bioland, Naturland), which are produced according to stricter criteria than the EU Organic Farming Regulation. The Ab Hof platform has an excellent network: In Berlin and Brandenburg, but also beyond, the Ab Hof platform knows them all: producers, farmers, processors and all those who ensure that the best food can end up in the shopping basket. With Beet & Baum, the Ab Hof platform has created a unique food hub with special products that are otherwise not available in typical organic shops and whose diversity is permanently on offer in Markthalle Neun.
