Haven't we all wanted to wake up an abandoned farm from its slumber to grow flowers on it? Not all of us? Well, Melanie Kunze did. After trying out a Berlin Kleingarten for a few years, the gardener expanded to a much larger testing ground: Körbitz in Teltow-Fläming. She and her family of seven moved to a three-sided farm and Melanie expanded her flower beds.

In Markthalle Neun, she sells her regional cut flowers and seedlings, which have been grown without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides. You can also definitely see the seasons passing by in the sea of flowers: each season gives us a different variety of flowers, which we can admire at Flämingblüte. Her dried flowers are also particularly beautiful in winter!
