"Where there's planing, there's spätzle!" is the motto of " Heisser Hobel", the rolling spätzle manufacturer from the Allgäu. They tried their hand at our Thursday street food market for the first time in 2013. Today, they are a permanent part of the Markthalle and can be found between bread from Domberger (Link), Frisch Gefischt (link) and Beet & Baum, so they are in good company. The Kasspatzen are freshly prepared in front of your eyes. So you can see exactly how three different types of cheese are mixed in after the dough has been grated. The mountain cheese comes from the family-run "Obere Mühle" organic cheese dairy in the Allgäu region. The whole dish is topped with roasted onions, black pepper and fresh chives.
