Street Food Thursday
The best way to get to know a place is through its food - a principle that applies all over the world. When travelling, the delicacies that are offered for direct consumption on the street are always particularly interesting: Street food.
And every Thursday evening at Markthalle Neun, we show that Berlin has more to offer than just currywurst and kebabs. From 5pm to 10pm, it becomes a platform for all those who dedicate themselves to their passion - cooking - without their own restaurant and large start-up capital, but with all the more creativity!
Launched in 2013, Street Food Thursday, initiated by Kavita Meelu and Anna Lai and Tobias Bürger from Big Stuff Smoked BBQ, was Germany's first international street food market.
Here you can find Thai dumplings, Brazilian tapioca flatbreads, Mexican tacos, Allgäu Kässpatzen, Peruvian ceviche, Nigerian FuFu, American barbeque, Portuguese pastries, Korean buns and much more - and, above all, something new every Thursday!
