Alfredo Sironi is a pioneer of Italian baking culture in Berlin. He came to Berlin in 2011 as a history student to find out how life is in Germany. He liked it and after dropping out of his university course, he spotted a gap in the Berlin bread market and opened his bakery in Markthalle Neun in August 2013. And it has been a success ever since. Three branches and several weekly market stalls now adorn the streets of the capital. Alfredo originally comes from the heart of northern Italy and now offers us a fine selection of Italian baked goods here: he and his team bake fresh pizzas, focaccia, ciabatta, his famous pane, "dolci" and croissants every day. Only what he himself likes is sold here! The passion for his craft is evident in every detail of the small bakery. The various kinds of flour are ordered directly from Italy and their degree of grinding is precisely matched to Sironi's baking skills. Don't miss the Panettone in winter!
