Since 2013, Markthalle Neun has established itself as the hotspot for Germany's street food community. Every Thursday evening, our street food cooks showcase what makes this city special: its culinary stories. Experience this flavourful journey around the world in one evening, tailored exclusively for you. In dedicated areas of the market hall, we’ll set up a street food market and various bars just for you and your guests.

Are you coming to Markthalle for lunch with your team or a group of business partners, and want to stroll through the market with everything on one bill? No problem. With our selection of up to 50 gastronomies and many drinks stands, there's sure to be something for everyone! Seating can also be reserved by prior arrangement.

Our team invites you to take a look behind the scenes together. We look back at Markthalle's history – from the founding idea and construction in the late 19th century to the time in the border area of West Berlin and the revitalisation in the 2010s. We take a look at the day-to-day operations of Markthalle Neun and the diverse local food production facilities. We wander through the historic cellar vaults and of course – we will taste our way through. By the end, we will have a better understanding of how the microcosm of Markthalle Neun works today.

Markthalle Neun is also available for your own market formats, conferences, public and private events. Whether it's a wine fair, book or product launch, video recording or photo shoot: the 136-year-old charm of Markthalle Neun is a suitable backdrop for a wide variety of formats. With our technology partner, we can implement elaborate stage formats and with our gastronomes, we already have the right catering on site.

Our Kaffee Neun is one of the most beautiful meeting places around Markthalle Neun. The room at the main entrance can be booked for small receptions, get-togethers and parties for up to 40 people. It has a fully equipped bar and a massive window front from which you can watch the hustle and bustle of Eisenbahnstraße.

Enjoy the finest market produce served at a long table in Markthalle Neun with our market dinnesr. A laid table for up to 60 people. Would you prefer a down-to-earth, laid-back meal on a beer bench or a festively decorated banquet table in the centre of our historic hall? With a customised menu and accompanied choice of drinks: Almost anything is possible here.
