The heart of Markthalle Neun is the weekly farmer's market: colourful stalls, a fish counter, bakeries and a butcher's shop, a brewery in the cellar and open kitchens - the personal encounter when shopping brings food production back from anonymity into the urban environment.

As a food centre, Markthalle Neun brings together what should be our daily bread: good products and their artisanal production, small-scale structures, knowledgeable product expertise and a no less enjoyable approach. It is about sharing passion and knowledge for good food and thus strengthening small-scale farming and local value chains.
