This story is probably ready to be made into a film - and Martin from Martin's Crêperie could practically film it himself. In his previous life, he was an assistant director in Paris. Then Martin travelled to the Côte d'Azur and brought back an old corrugated iron bus from there. He then used it to sell crêpes and galettes in Paris St Martin. And now, ages ago, the premiere in Berlin!

In Brittany, the thin buckwheat pancakes are street food and a way of life - until the beginning of the twentieth century, they were a simple regional speciality. Then, with the advent of a modern leisure culture, they became a favourite dish throughout France, along with the sweet version, the crêpe.

And: galettes are gluten-free! They are made from buckwheat flour, which Martin sources directly from Brittany. Topped with goat's cheese, rocket, walnuts and honey, for example. We also recommend the crêpes with apple sauce or sugar & cinnamon. Although, according to Martin, the latter two would never be on a crêpe in France.
