Something wonderful happens when you mix habanero peppers with water, salt and a few other ingredients and simply leave them to stand for a while: It ferments! That's what gives the sauces from Neck Dart Hot Sauce not only plenty of heat (the habanero is one of the hottest of all chillies), but also a pleasant funk and complexity.

While others were baking bread or discovering knitting during the Covid-19 pandemic, Robert put on his protective goggles and experimented with fermenting the spicy fruit and even won the prize for best hot sauce at the Berlin Chilli Fest 2022 for his creation.
