Kuchen von Gaia

Sunday 29. March

Gaia is Giulio's daughter. He moved with her from Rome to Berlin many years ago because he saw greater opportunities for her future here. With his stand, where he sells tiramisú, cannoli siciliani and bignè, he wants to honour his Italian origins and share the corresponding way of life with Berliners. Perhaps you have already been stopped by Giulio and his charismatic team while walking through the market hall and asked to try something? Quite a few people have been surprised by his positive energy and the sweet treats and were happy to come back afterwards. Kuchen von Gaia were sold for the first time at Street Food Thursday 2017, and the stand has since established itself and is now a permanent fixture at our market.
