Roman Dashuber

Roman is a child of the Alps and has lived in Berlin since studying psychology, working as a project manager for an environmental think tank, among other things. He combines his psychological intuition—for people, processes, and good decisions—with his almost encyclopedic knowledge of cookbooks from around the world. Since 2015, he has proven that no one is better suited to run our market: with a clear head, keen intuition, and a great passion for good food and sustainable agriculture.

Even before the market opens, the hall's gates open: The butcher counter, cafés, bakeries, and some shops are there for you early in the morning. And it's also worth visiting after the market closes – for example, for a glass of something, a pizza, or to soak up the hall's atmosphere.

Team

We believe that lively markets make cities more livable. That's why everyone contributes with their own particular strengths: facility managers keep the hall in good shape, market organizers plan daily operations and events, and finance and communications staff keep everything running smoothly. Together, we ensure that Markthalle Neun is a place where ideas grow, neighborhoods come together, and food culture is made tangible.
