Anna Kabacinska

With a keen eye for what really interests and connects children and seniors, Anna, a trained ecotrophologist, accompanies Kreuzberg school classes and senior groups on culinary journeys of discovery at the Kochschule Neun – from the field to the plate. Bold and level-headed, she imparts knowledge about food, lets everyone contribute their own experiences, and ensures that food is experienced with all the senses—while planting, harvesting, and cooking.

Even before the market opens, the hall's gates open: The butcher counter, cafés, bakeries, and some shops are there for you early in the morning. And it's also worth visiting after the market closes – for example, for a glass of something, a pizza, or to soak up the hall's atmosphere.

Team

We believe that lively markets make cities more livable. That's why everyone contributes with their own particular strengths: facility managers keep the hall in good shape, market organizers plan daily operations and events, and finance and communications staff keep everything running smoothly. Together, we ensure that Markthalle Neun is a place where ideas grow, neighborhoods come together, and food culture is made tangible.
