Gala Patterns

Friday 25. September Saturday 26. September

A local designer-led brand from Odesa, Ukraine, creating printed home textiles — tablecloths, runners, pillowcases, tea towels and more.

The patterns inspired by Ukrainian heritage and traditional motifs shared across Indo-European cultures. They capture the spirit of southern Ukraine: warm hospitality, open conversation, shared meals, open emotions, and some gossip time after time.

Designer Galyna Puzyrna interprites local symbols and stories into modern design. Among them are the mascarons on Odesa’s facades, wich are looking back at you from the posters for this pop-up.

Saturday, 26.09.26, 10:00 – 18:00

Odesa is coming to town, and you're invited!

For two days, Odessa is coming to Kreuzberg. A market that brings together wine, bread, delicious food and beautiful things – and with it, a little piece of Odessa with its stories and traditions. There’ll be cooking, eating, storytelling and shopping. That's what markets are all about.

Food writer Maria Kalenska will be presenting her cookbook "Cuisines of Odessa", featuring recipes and stories from more than 100 families. Let’s remember: whilst war rages in Ukraine, people continue to grow, bake, cook and trade. Thankfully. Every bite, every bottle and every encounter helps to keep their culture alive.
