A Berlin meatball for lunch, accompanied by a spoonful of potato salad from Lower Franconia, classically dressed with oil and vinegar, plus a little cucumber green. Sounds simple. But it's pretty awesome. This is exactly how Baller's Place has been serving its meatballs at Markthalle Neun since 2013. And it's not just meat that's rolled here – veggie balls have also been on the menu from the very beginning. And from February, it will get even better, because then the veggie ball will finally be available in a vegan version. This means that the Berlin meatball will be available for everyone.

The balls themselves are little flavor bombs. Sometimes classic with mustard and onions, sometimes with tomato, rosemary, and garlic. Hearty, spicy, juicy. In the cold season, a portion of warm savoy cabbage is added. We had lunch at Ballers Place and can say: these are balls of distinction!
