Ein paar Worte über Olivenöl
100pct. – neues Kapitel beim Olivenöl
(und ein paar Neuigkeiten am Stand)
After many years of close collaboration, we have said goodbye to our olive oil producer, Nikos Maroulakos: Nikos has entered his well-deserved retirement. For us, this is a major step—and above all, a moment to say thank you. Over the years, our business relationship has evolved into a genuine bond of trust: shared decisions, difficult seasons, the pandemic, price hikes, and extreme weather. Anyone who works in agriculture knows that reliability cannot be taken for granted.
At the same time, a new chapter is beginning at 100pct. In our search for a worthy successor, we found him right in Nikos’s immediate neighborhood in Lakonia on the Peloponnese—near Monemvasia. Kostas Pramataris works there, and he won us over right from our very first meeting: with his meticulousness, clean processes, and commitment to scrutinizing every detail even more closely each year to get the very best out of each harvest. Kostas has built his own modern oil mill on-site, so the olives can be processed immediately after harvest—short supply chains, clear responsibilities, transparent batches.
With Kostas, we now offer three organic olive oils: two single-variety oils bottled by the producer (Athinoelia & Koroneiki) and our house brand as a reliable everyday oil. As always at 100pct, we stand by clear provenance, transparent processing, and open communication.
And there’s more news: We’ve moved our location within Markthalle Neun—you can now find us at our new spot, right next to the revitalized Marktcafé in the middle of the hall!
Also new: a curated selection of Greek wines (in collaboration with the Eklektikon Collective), through which we aim to raise the profile of small wineries and make Greek wine more accessible.
