Job: Working student at Kaffee 9 & Marktcafé
(m/f/d) – to start immediately
Right in the heart of Markthalle Neun, there are two cafés that serve as the hubs of daily life in this historic Kreuzberg venue. This is where traders meet before their shifts begin, food artisans gather between the bakery, the brewing kettle and the sales counter, neighbours stop by on their way to work, and regulars who are happy to pop in here more than once a day. Our cafés are lively meeting places – characterised by really good coffee, artisan products, a warm, friendly atmosphere and a well-coordinated team.
To support us, we’re looking for a working student to start immediately, who’s keen to get to know this wonderful place, its people and its great coffee.
Your responsibilities
Assisting with day-to-day café operations
Preparing speciality coffees and drinks
Serving at the counter and in the café area
Providing friendly service to our guests
Helping with preparation, tidiness and cleanliness
Assisting with events and busy market days
What you bring to the role
You are a registered student
You’re keen on the catering industry, coffee and high-quality food
You’re open-minded, communicative and enjoy interacting with people
You’re reliable, a team player and able to work independently
You feel at ease in crowds
Some experience in the catering industry or as a barista is great, but not essential
