We are looking for new service staff for our team at Marktlokal.
Service area:
Day shift: Lunch & Cafe
Evening shift: Dinner, bar, event & club
Your profile:
You have 1-2 years proven experience in a service orientated hospitality industry
You have a passion for gastronomy and service and would like to develop your skills in the long term
You enjoy working with high-quality food and wine and are well versed in both areas.
You are committed, detail-orientated and work with precision.
You are team-orientated, open-minded and love dealing with guests.
You are proactive and like to take the initiative to improve your work area.
You are flexible and would like to work in different areas of our service operation: Lunch, Dinner, Events and Club.
You have good verbal language skills in German and English.

About us:
Located in the heart of Kreuzberg, the Marktlokal has been the in-house restaurant of Markthalle Neun for over 100 years. It shows how important it is for a restaurant to be close to the ingredients and the people who produce and sell them.
Cheese from Alte Milch, meat from Kumpel & Keule, fish from Frisch Gefischt, vegetables and other products from Plattform 2020 - that's what's on the table here. The menu is rounded off by a constantly changing wine list with organic and/or biodynamic bottles from natural producers around the world, freshly brewed beer from Heidenpeters and a seasonal cocktail menu.
In 2024, we will expand our offering with a new lunch programme, Sunday pop-ups with some of the city's best young chefs and special events in collaboration with Markthalle Neun. Our basement venue and concert space will open soon and be fully operational in 2025
